Boston Ability Center

Pediatric Wellness Center (Wellesley)

A pediatric wellness center that is dedicated to helping kids reach their highest level of function in every area of development, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy in a setting that is full of fun and adventure. A variety of wellness classes including social pragmatics, fitness and speech groups are also offered.

Concord Adaptive Recreation

Seasonal Adapative Programs (Concord, MA)

Concord Recreation is committed to providing year round, affordable, community based programming for individuals of all ages and abilities. Our Department continually strives to evaluate our programs, assuring inclusion and access for all. 

Swim Angelfish

Swim Lessons & Aquatic Therapy (Multiple Locations)

Aquatic occupational and physical therapy, and adapted swim lessons for children of all abilities, addressing most common roadblocks to being independent and safe in the water.

Waypoint Adventure

Adventure Based Programs - MetroWest

Waypoint Adventure is a non-profit educational organization founded in 2010 that uses quality experiential and adventure-based programs to transform the lives of individuals with disabilities. Waypoint works with school groups, social service organizations, families and individuals to offer custom designed adventure programs that meet their goals and objectives.

These programs are not just about having fun on a boat ride, climbing high on a rock or sliding down a zip line – They are about positive individual and group development. They’re about building social and character skills, forming teams and transforming people’s views of themselves and their abilities. Waypoint believes that all people, regardless of ability, will have opportunities for adventure, and through them realize their personal value, strengths and abilities. The challenge faced and support discovered in these experiences challenge people to become stronger individuals and community members.

Gymnastics Classes (Naticks & Newton)

Energy Fitness and Gymnastics offers gymnastics classes for both high functioning and low functioning individuals. They offer a weekly open gym for families living with special needs.

Music Programs (Boston)

The Boston Conservatory offers music programs for individuals on the autism spectrum - private lessons, an early childhood program, and a chorus.

Adaptive Climbing Group

Adaptive Climbing Classes

Adaptive Climbing Group is a community for people with disabilities to have opportunities to inclusively participate in the sport of climbing. Adaptive Climbing is taking the already existing abilities of a person and helping them participate in the sport.

Inspire Dance Academy

Dance Classes (Holliston)

A dance program specifically designed for children with special needs starting Fall 2016.

Teachers who have a love for teaching dance and students of all abilities. Megan Kinney has a degree in specia ed with a concentration on severe special needs. Kim Milo works with kids with physical and intellectual disabilities and is an experienced teacher who has been teaching for over 10 years.

The Adaptive Sports & Recreation Program at the Sudbury Park & Recreation Department is committed to providing year round, affordable, community based programming for individuals with disabilities. Offering comprehensive and varied programs of recreation activities as well as resources for residents, we truly recognize the importance of recreation and leisure in the lives of all community members. The Adaptive Sports & Recreation program strives to improve the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through continued and successful involvement in sports and recreation programs here in their own back yard.

Success Music Studio

Music Lessons (Sudbury)

Success Music Studio offers conventionalteaching methods for traditional learners, and specializes in multisensory strategies for instructing young students (as young as four years old) and students with learning disabilities,giftedness, and select special needs students.
