• We do not screen, vet, verify, interview, or background-check any individual caregiver, job seeker, agency, or employer who uses our platform or joins our community groups.
• We do not verify identities, qualifications, certifications, licenses, references, criminal histories, insurance, or the legitimacy of any individual or organization.
• All arrangements between families and caregivers, or between job seekers and agencies, are made independently and entirely at their own risk.
• Families are solely responsible for conducting their own interviews, reference checks, background checks, and due diligence before hiring any caregiver or engaging any agency.
• Caregivers and job seekers are solely responsible for verifying the legitimacy, safety, and employment practices of any family or organization before accepting work.
• MAK assumes no liability for any interactions, arrangements, disputes, injuries, damages, or outcomes arising from connections made through our platform, Facebook groups, email lists, or any other channel.
• Posting a job listing or caregiver profile on our platform does not constitute our endorsement of that individual or organization.
