The inclusion of any provider, service, organization, or resource in our directory or on any page of this Site does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of quality by Moms of Amazing Kids. Provider listings are community-submitted and are not independently verified for accuracy, licensure, or quality of services. Families are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting providers.

4. Community-Submitted Content

Users may submit provider listings, Vibe Check nominations, endorsements, and other content. By submitting content, you represent that:

• The information you provide is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You grant Moms of Amazing Kids the right to display, modify, or remove your submission at our discretion.
• You will not submit content that is defamatory, misleading, or harmful.

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any user-submitted content without notice.

5. Affiliate Links & Sponsored Content

Some links on this Site may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase or sign up through those links — at no additional cost to you. Sponsored or featured listings are paid placements and are clearly labeled as such. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial recommendations or the resources we share.

6. Caregiver & Job Listings

MAK provides a community platform where families and caregivers can connect, and where agencies can post recruitment listings. By using our caregiver pages, jobs pages, Facebook groups, or email lists, you agree to the following:

• MAK is not an employer, staffing agency, or placement service. We do not employ, place, or contract any caregiver.
• We do not screen, vet, verify, or background-check any individual or organization on our platform.
• All hiring decisions and work arrangements are made independently between the parties involved and are entirely at their own risk.
• Families are solely responsible for verifying caregiver qualifications, references, and conducting background checks.
• Caregivers are solely responsible for verifying the legitimacy and safety of any family or organization before accepting work.
• MAK assumes no liability for any injury, loss, dispute, or damages arising from any connection, arrangement, or employment relationship facilitated through our platform.
• By using these features, you release and hold harmless Moms of Amazing Kids, its founders, contributors, and affiliates from any claims related to interactions with other users of the platform.

7. Featured Listings

Featured listings are paid placements in our provider directory. Featured status indicates that a provider has paid for enhanced visibility — it does not indicate endorsement, verification, or superior quality of services. Featured listings are clearly marked with a "Featured" badge.

8. Limitation of Liability

Moms of Amazing Kids, its founders, contributors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from your use of this Site, reliance on any information provided, or interactions with any providers, services, or organizations listed on or linked from this Site. Use of this Site and its resources is at your own risk.

9. External Links

This Site contains links to external websites not operated by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. Visiting external links is at your own risk.

10. Intellectual Property

All original content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of Moms of Amazing Kids and is protected by applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

11. Partner Listings & Payment Terms

Providers and businesses may apply for paid partner listings ("Spotlight," "Featured," or "Premium Partner") to receive enhanced visibility in our directory. By submitting a partner application and completing payment, you agree to the following:

• Billing: Partner listings are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. All prices are in USD and are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active partners.
• What you receive: Enhanced directory placement, badges, and promotional deliverables as described on our Partner page. Specific deliverables vary by tier.
• No guaranteed outcomes: Partner listings provide visibility, not guaranteed leads, clients, or referrals. We make no representations about traffic, engagement, or business results.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (month or year). No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle. For annual plans, your features remain active through the end of the prepaid year.
• Auto-renewal: All monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically via Stripe until cancelled. You will receive an email receipt before each renewal.
• Refunds: Payments are non-refundable. If you cancel, your enhanced features remain active until the end of your paid period. Your free listing remains after cancellation.
• Upgrades & downgrades: You may change your tier at any time by contacting us. Upgrades take effect immediately, and the price difference is prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.
• Editorial discretion: We reserve the right to reject, modify, or remove any partner listing at our sole discretion, with or without notice. In the event we remove a listing, we will issue a prorated refund for any unused prepaid time.
• Content ownership: By uploading logos, photos, or promotional content, you grant Moms of Amazing Kids a non-exclusive license to display that content on our website and social media channels for the duration of your partnership.
• Not an endorsement: Paid partner status does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or verification by Moms of Amazing Kids.

12. Event Spotlight Terms

Event Spotlight is a one-time $25 promotional package. Payment is non-refundable once your event has been reviewed and confirmed. We reserve the right to decline event submissions that do not align with our community mission. Event listings are removed after the event date passes.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
